Between new fragrances and new lines from the usual fragrance houses, in the last five years plus, there has been a influx of new houses with several fragrances in their line. It’s getting out of control. With only a few exceptions, most of the perfumes are mundane and not anything different than what is already out there. As much as I love perfumes, I think I miss the days when things were not only simpler but much more exciting because there weren’t hundreds of new perfumes every single month.
But that is just my opinion.
I don’t disagree with this and am sorry to see CB launch three at once, but they have some really nice perfumes at a decent price point – and 50ml bottles.
As far as I know from the brand owners themselves, Black Collection will be very limited and each perfume will be available only in one spot around the world.
Or so was the concept when they shared it with me in September
The black bottles make me suspect that these will not be amongst their more reasonably standard line.
These are more for the Middle East
Should say “reasonably priced”
These are not at such a decent price point — I think they’re about twice the usual price.
I agree.Too much.
Hear hear.
Rose & Dragon is a lovely perfume
That’s the only one I’d like to try. (My preferences are usually for florals, I admit.)
Sad to hear these are pricey and may be limited release. But I stand by my view that they’ve done some lovely perfumes amid what can seem like piles of dreck.
Couldn’t agree more!
This trend is making me so grumpy! The next company to release a “special” line should have done with it and call the new line: The More Expensive Collection.
or, The Much More Expenseive Collection, as the case may be. ????
Haha! It would probably sound great in French. Or, alternatively, “No, Its not for You”.
The first two sound wonderful, too bad I will probably never see/smell them.
