Indie natural perfumer Ayala Moriel has launched Coal Harbour, a new marine-leathery-green fragrance.
Every morning, I go on a faux commute to Coal Harbour, to watch the aquaplanes take off and land. The marine aspect of the city haunts me, and the notion of taking a plane to one of the islands captures my imagination. Life is brief, like the trail that the plane leaves in its wake. And once we take off, there will be no trace left in the water.
Although Coal Harbour is the last in the Perfume4aPlace series, it is in fact the one I've conceived first. And as my time to go on my next adventure and leave this city approaches - the handkerchief I will be waving will smell of low tide, jet fuel, fresh cut grass and linden blossoms.
Additional notes include galbanum, mimosa, elemi, balsam poplar buds, seaweed, fossilized amber resin (from prehistoric pine) and pine absolute .
Ayala Moriel Coal Harbour is available in 4, 5 or 15 ml Eau de Parfum; samples are also available.

Wow, sounds like a knockout!
I have a sample but as usual am ridiculously behind. Hope to get to it later this week.
It becomes so overwhelming so I completely understand. A new release every 10 seconds.
You would think it would make me speed up, but I fear it’s had the opposite effect! The sense that I will never catch up anyway makes me slow down.
