More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US. Today's post includes limited editions from Valentino, Azzedine Alaïa, Viktor & Rolf, Atkinsons and Ralph Lauren.
From Valentino, Donna Eau de Parfum in the "Felt Collector's Bottle" (although yes, it appears to be a felt collector's box). "Adorned with felt fabric from the Valentino fashion collections for a sensual touch and an appealing look." $130 for 100 ml at Bloomingdales.
From Azzedine Alaïa, Alaïa Paris with new limited edition laser-cut outer packaging (yes, it's another special box) for Autumn 2016. Available now at Parfuemerie Proesch in Germany.
From Viktor & Rolf, Flowerbomb in the Pink Crystal limited edition: "Flowerbomb gets dressed up for the holidays in a delicate and feminine light pink dress, embellished with a pink crystalized rose." $120 for 50 ml at Macy's. There is a similar version with a slightly different finish on the bottle at Nordstrom, for the same price.
Atkinsons 24 Old Bond Street in the Silken Favours editon, with a label illustration by British designer Vicki Murdoch, in 100 ml and packaged with a matching silk scarf. 1799 numbered bottles were made. (via sasandcompany)
From Ralph Lauren, Romance in the Pink Pony edition to benefit cancer patients: "Pink Pony is the symbol of our effort in the fight against cancer. The same essence of love, now contributing to the cause to preserve love. 100% of the profits from your purchase will be donated to reduce disparities in cancer care and ensure that treatment is available at an earlier, more curable stage. Make a difference. Give the gift of love." $104 for 150 ml at Belk.
Yeah, I don’t see a felt bottle working out.
It’s a problem.
I’m planning on buying an el cheapo bottle of Valentino Donna, no felt box required. When I’m at Bloomies next (which is not anytime soon because it is way out of my way), I will touch the felt on my way out 🙂
Who wants a felt box? My boxes all go directly to the trash.
I am pretty sure it is the same price as the regular, but might be harder to find at discount. I throw my boxes away too, but I guess if you were buying it for a gift?
The simplicity of the Ralph Lauren bottle is rather refreshing.
Yes — I actually like it better than the plastic rose on the Flowerbomb.
What holidays??? WHAT holidays?!?!?! It’s September, for crying out loud!!!!
Lol,the only limited edition I want to actually SEE already,is Lush Rose Jam showergel.I’m on my last bottle…
For a moment, I thought the Valentino was attempting to attract the collectors of felt.
