Marina Serale and Sebastián Alvarez Murena of Eau d'Italie will launch their fourth fragrance under the Altaia brand name, Ombú.
As part of ALTAIA and in celebration of their shared past, Marina decided to create a fragrance for her husband Sebastián. The inspiration came from the Ombú, a majestic plant native to the Pampa that is an essential part of Argentinian landscape and tradition.
Mighty yet welcoming, the Ombú offers shelter to those travelling across the grasslands of South America, and has come to symbolize the gallant spirit of its inhabitants.
For these reasons - and because there is one single Ombú growing at the foot of the Capitoline Hill in Rome, where the couple live - Marina chose it to name the fragrance she created for her husband Sebastián.
Notes for the unisex fragrance include pink pepper, sage, cedar, amber and benzoin.
Altaia Ombú will be available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum, $210.
