Italian niche line Acqua di Parma will launch Peonia Nobile, the latest in the floral series that includes 2011's Gelsomino Nobile and 2014's Rosa Nobile.
The notes feature black pepper, raspberry, peony, geranium, freesia, rose, amber, patchouli and musk.

Robin, I’ve always wanted to ask what exactly makes you prefer the AdP Iris Nobile EDT over the EDP.
I have the EDP but suspect I would have liked the, now discontinued, EDT better as toilette and cologne structures tend to work better for me.
Really all they had in common was iris…don’t know how to answer since I already reviewed both, I just liked the style of the EdT better!
Oops. It never occurred to me to search to see if you had reviewed them. Thanks for the info. I’ve gone and read the reviews. 🙂
Peony is one of my favorite flowers. But I’ve yet to find a peony-focused fragrance I love. So far every one is somehow shrill and doesn’t smell much like actual peonies.
I want to test this, however, because I remain an optimist (a fool!) 🙂
(but with freesia in the notes list I’m not very optimistic. freesia smells like shampoo to me, I’m looking at you chanel beige)
I love the flower too, but peony in perfume, not so much.
