Institut Très Bien has introduced Les Colognes Fines, a new trio of floral fragrances — Violette de Parme, Tubéreuse Absolue and Rose de Mai.
Violette de Parme ~ "An unexpected, romantic scent awaits beneath the bloom’s apparent timidity. Enhanced by the secret charm of a violet leaf absolute, Cologne Fine Violette de Parme is an exquisite, mysterious fragrance. Cologne Fine Violette de Parme holds the surprising, herbaceous notes of galbanum mingled in the woody tones of violet leaf absolute, giving way to a mimosa heart and backed by a suave base of violet flower." Additional notes include lemon, bergamot, petitgrain, pink pepper, cinnamon, patchouli and benzoin.
Tubéreuse Absolue ~ "A warm, stately veil voluptuously brushing the skin, Cologne Fine Tubéreuse Absolue reveals a flamboyant character contained in a crisp, subtle blend. Cologne Fine Tubéreuse Absolue exerts enthralling citrus bark head notes, a heart of tuberose absolute, with a neroli base. A solar scent with a trail evocative of white flowers." Additional notes include lemon, bergamot, petitgrain, pink pepper, white lily, cinnamon, patchouli and benzoin.
Rose de Mai ~ "The all new harmony of a sparkling cologne accord exalted by a rose absolute. Cologne Fine Rose de Mai is a bud break of fresh, timeless grace. Cologne Fine Rose de Mai weds effervescent nuances of citrus and tomato leaf to a heart of rose absolute and blackcurrant bud, over dulcet geranium and elemi back notes." Additional notes include lemon, bergamot, petitgrain, pink pepper, cinnamon, patchouli and benzoin.
Institut Très Bien Les Colognes Fines Violette de Parme, Tubéreuse Absolue and Rose de Mai are available now at Jovoy Paris in France, in 100 ml.

I don’t often wear cologne but these look really good. And, Robin, i just read your review of La Russe which is also tempting. Like the bottles too.
I really liked La Russe & hope it still smells as good. Crown Eau de Russe was better, but that’s a lost cause.
I haven’t tried these new ones but their Cologne a l’Italienne is perfect on a hot day. We occasionally get such a thing in England.
And since we are having England-worthy weather this year, I sympathize!
Ooh, these sound nice. Not sure how I’ll ever be able to replace Carnal Flower with another tuberose but this might take the spot if i’m looking for something lighter.
I love Cologne a la Francaise and am lucky to have a large decant that I treasure. I wish these would get distribution in the US!!! I would happily test them all!
