Luxury body care and fragrance line Une Nuit à Bali has launched their fourth fragrance, Murmure des Dieux.
Spiritual Bali, an island that slowly awakens each day to the rhythm of offerings. This is the time when every street corner is joyously decorated with Canang Sari. These little baskets, hand woven from banana leaves, offer a generous mix of brightly colored flowers, holy water, spices, rice and incense.
‘Murmure des Dieux’ pays homage to this ritual, considered by the Balinese to be an act of living gratitude. At the heart these offerings lay the ethereal reverence between humanity and the gods. This fragrance is an expression of the lightness of the soul; an airy perfume taking the form of a reassuring whisper. The scent is like a mantra on the skin.
Its delicate harmony intertwines the sweetness of plumeria with the subtlety of rice, star anise, and the fullness of musk, evoking both the weightlessness of incense spirals and the transparency of holy water.
Une Nuit à Bali Murmure des Dieux is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Holy water is just salty water, correct? “Aquatic note”? 🙂
Impossible to say what they mean, but probably a water note, which might or might not be salty.
This is heck of a weird perfume. When I tried it on the blotter it smelled to me literally like a rice boiler with a hint of spiciness and florals.
Interesting! That sounds like a Bali breakfast… but maybe not a perfume I’d wear….
Oh, thanks — love perfumes with rice notes that actually smell like rice 🙂
This one smells very much like rice, but it’s a boiled rice, not a raw rice note with powdery touches.
