Victoria's Secret has launched The Trend Collection Rose, the second quartet (the first was Citrus) in a projected series of limited edition seasonal fragrances. The fragrances include Rose Violet, Rose Caramel, Rose Bergamot and Rose Musk.
Rose Violet (shown) ~ Floral. "The scent of the moment: crisp cedarwood and violet modernize classic rose, making this sexy eau de parfum impossible to resist."
Rose Caramel ~ Floral gourmand. "The scent of the moment: exotic jasmine and a hint of caramel modernize classic rose, making this sexy eau de parfum impossible to resist."
Rose Bergamot ~ Fresh floral. "The scent of the moment: fresh bergamot and green apple modernize classic rose, making this sexy eau de parfum impossible to resist."
Rose Musk ~ Floral oriental. "The scent of the moment: soft musk and spicy pepper modernize classic rose, making this sexy eau de parfum impossible to resist."
Victoria's Secret The Trend Collection Rose Violet, Rose Caramel, Rose Bergamot and Rose Musk are available in 250 ml Eau de Parfum, $68. (Or, the 250 is a mistake and they meant 50 ml, which seems quite possible.)

Those don’t sound half bad! I might have to brave the (visible) skank at VS and give them a sniff. Plus I have a coupon for a free lace panty since our VS recently reopened after moving to a different spot in the outdoor mall. Got to have at least a little lace in the midst of all the cotton!
The citrus ones did not sound half bad either, but have not managed to get myself to the mall to smell them. Do report back if you smell any!
The citrus ones were nice. I ended up purchasing the Lemon Iris one.
Good to know, thanks so much!
From taking a peek on their website, the bottles are advertised at 250ml/8.4 fl. oz., so I don’t think it’s a typo. Based on the way old classmates used to slather on the Pear Glace, I suspect the huge bottle is entirely intentional. P.U.
I am suspicious because a) that’s usually the standard size of their body mists and b) the first trend collection was in 50 ml and c) if you look at the price of the 50 ml citrus, it doesn’t make sense that the price of the rose would still be at $68 for 250 ml, esp. since the rose collection would cost more to make.
Ah, good point! I’m in the vicinity of the VS in our mall. I was headed out to antique for older scents this afternoon–I can verify! 🙂
More importantly — tell us if they’re any good!
Well, I popped in again and still saw nothing at all. One of the SAs offered to go get it out of the back for me to try and came back befuddled because she swore she’d seen the incoming parfum boxes and couldn’t find them! She did promise that they would be on the floor “next week.” So next week I try again. LOL.
At some point it will not be worth the bother 🙂
I don’t have any particular interest in anything VS does, but these do at least sound tolerable, and at least they do not have ridiculous names. No “Very Sexy Little Things Secret Angel Temptation Bombshell Tease Noir” nonsense.
🙂
They FINALLY got these in and I got to try them yesterday! (The website is updated now. It’s the 100 ml bottle for $68.)
Of the four, I liked the initial scent of Rose Bergamots the best. It felt the closest to something that would work with my skin. I distinctly remember having the distinct thought “This smells kind.” (That’s likely due to my love of Earl Grey.) By contrast, I thought that Rose Violet smelled like shampoo, that Rose Musk smelled like dollar-store shampoo, and that Rose Caramel was entirely too close to the scent of a fresh-glazed Krispy Kreme doughnut.
I wouldn’t mind at all having a smaller bottle of that Rose Bergamot. It feels like a nice thing to mist into a sunny room. The others I just couldn’t handle. I don’t think any of them smell even remotely of rose, btw.
