Comptoir Sud Pacifique has launched Coeur d'Ylang and Rhum & Tabac, and has reissued a new version of 1977's Vétyver Haïti.
Coeur d'Ylang ~ "A feminine, round and sunny fragrance with a refined sensuality. In the pure tradition of Comptoir Sud Pacifique, with a know how that only belongs to the Parisian Maison de Parfum, Cœur d’Ylang is a figurative perfume whose notes of Comorian Ylang and Frangipani bring us straight to a distant paradise, pure evasion and dream!" Additional notes include bergamot, Peru balsam and vanilla.
Rhum & Tabac ~ "A strong and elegant fragrance that combines the aroma of the Rhum arrangé with spices like cinnamon and cardamom, and the woody scent of Tobacco leaves and Patchouli. A rather masculin Eau de Parfum thanks to its power and density, an ode to the Cuban ambience from the 60's." Additional notes include lime.
Vétyver Haïti ~ "The revival of one of the most important perfume from Comptoir Sud Pacifique! An Eau de Parfum sober and elegant, authentic. In this fragrance, now a classic Comptoir Sud Pacifique perfume, the sparkling note of Lemon and Italian Bergamot interwine, highlight, glorify the woody strength of Vetiver. The original formula has been improved to exalt the main ingredient of its composition : Vetiver." Additional notes include cedar.
Comptoir Sud Pacifique Coeur d'Ylang, Rhum & Tabac and Vétyver Haïti are available in 30 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Coeur d’Ylang sounds good
They all 3 sound good to me. Don’t think I ever tried their original Vetiver.
I’m groovin’ on Vetiver lately……Mmmmmmm
🙂
Me, too! Which ones are you liking?
The Vetyver sounds fantastic! ????
These actually sound really good. I’m very pleasantly surprised. I’ve always liked their packaging, such handy bottles.
I’d be curious about the Ylang as well. Not sure how this line is doing — I missed last year’s announcement about Aqua Motu Intense. That used to be such a favorite as a result of a tip from you, Robin. I enjoyed some others in the line as well, but no idea what’s still in production.
They sound good – I like their Aloha Tiaré and Coeur de Vahiné.
I have the old Vétyver Haïti. It’s never been my fav but I don’t remember why. Sprayed on a tissue, it smells very lemony and sort of powdery (maybe that’s the cedar?). I’m not sure I’d even categorize it as a vetiver in a blind test – which is probably why I was disappointed when I got it and let it migrate to the back of a closet.
It’s good to see CSP doing a vetiver (assuming it’s really a vetiver this time): my impression is that the line appeals to a younger demographic, and it would be great if vetiver caught on.
I haven’t tried much from this line. Are they all sweet/gourmand? I’d try the ylang either way, but might temper my expectations.
Many were sweet gourmands, but not all.
