So happens I have a small bottle of Johnson’s Baby Shampoo in the medicine cabinet, and so naturally I just went and washed my hands with it. It smells like orange-blossom and vanilla and nothing else. Am I missing something?
I have no idea if you’re missing anything, but people do have a nostalgic love for the smell, so would think this would be popular.
Fair enough. It just didn’t seem like the freshest, cleanest smell imaginable, assuming that the Demeter is a faithful reproduction of the actual product.
And it might not be the happiest either 😉
Especially not if the shampoo got in your eyes. I think “freshest, cleanest” would be from childhood or maternal associations.
I have a small bottle from the Demeter/Sniffa thing a few weeks back. Forgot I had it! It’s pretty faithful. I keep a small bottle of baby shampoo in the shower to use once in a while on my eyes to keep stys at bay. I’m not good at notes, but I would say it is a pleasant scent. I think the orange blossom, vanilla is accurate.
Thanks!
