French niche line Liquides Imaginaires has launched Île Pourpre, a new unisex fragrance in the brand's Eau Imaginaire range.
There is a legend from the ancient Phoenicians and Greeks, handed over from Generation to Generation, talking about an extraordinary island. It shines in bright purple and is visible from afar. But not every adventurer reached this island with the ship. The rugged cliffs and shorelines are like a chain of corals around the bright green heart of the island. And so it holds a special secret: There shall be an exceptional fruit, native to this mystical place - unusually sweet and with an intense flavor. Its lush juice puts a purple glow on the rocks - it radiates the island in a fragrant aura.
The scent of this fruit will let your thoughts drift and fills your dreams with the visions of the gods who protect this little paradise. Île Pourpre is like a melting point between the freshness of shiso (also known as perilla or sesame leaf) and the fruity sensuality of black figs - well seasoned with fine woods and other aromatic ingredients...
Additional notes include angelica seeds, incense, bergamot, ginger, fenugreek, davana, iris, cedar, patchouli, cashmeran, ambroxan and ethyl laitone.
Liquides Imaginaires Île Pourpre is available now at Essenza Nobile in Germany, in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

I just bought something from this line on Saturday, from Barneys, and the sales associate was so very lovely as he made me a sample of the entire line. I believe this fragrance was among one of the many samples in the bag with my full bottle purchase.
Please let us know what you think when you try it. Which one did you purchase?
Nice!
Oooh – which one did you get? I love Fortis.
WANT.I’ve been in love with this brand since Fortis.
That’s my favorite of theirs as well.
Sorry, it would help to add which fragrance I purchased. I bought the Fortis Eau Dela. The sales associate sprayed some on my wrist last summer and I took a picture of the fragrance to remember to buy it at some point (I am Downtown boy and really loathe going to the UES). My fragrance collection is out of control and I can no longer justify the $200 plus a pop purchases, haha. I am saving this for my “sexy and sultry mood collection” fragrance wears, but I’ll start sampling the many samples that he put in the bag and report back with some reviews!
How many are helped by ethyl laitone listed as a note? FYI it’s sweet and sort of coconutty and rumlike.
