More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US. Today's post includes collector editions from Viktor & Rolf, Hanae Mori and Juicy Couture.
From Viktor & Rolf, another variation on Bonbon + Swarovski: "Indulge in Viktor&Rolf Bonbon this holiday. Sculpted to perfection, the delicate lines of Bonbon's signature couture bow are now glistening with Swarovski® Crystals. Experience the delectable scent of Bonbon in this luxurious limited edition bottle." $175 for 50 ml at Bergdorf Goodman.
From Viktor & Rolf, the Starry Night edition of Flowerbomb (it's a variation on this one): "Dazzle this season with Flowerbomb Starry Night Eau de Parfum by Viktor & Rolf. Inspired by a magical night sky sparkling infinitely with stars, it's the perfect gift for every Flowerbomb addict. Its breathtaking black bottle glitters with silver sparkles and is just as magnificent as the iconic fragrance inside." $120 for 50 ml at Nordstrom.
From Hanae Mori, a numbered limited edition of Butterfly in a pink lacquer bottle. 2850 bottles were made, €122 for 100 ml Eau de Parfum at Sephora in France.
From Juicy Couture, the Grande edition of Viva La Juicy: "More glamour, more fun, more Viva La Juicy. Viva La Juicy Grande Edition Eau de Parfum goes beyond in an oversized bottle with a bigger-than-ever pink bow and twice the amount of your favorite fragrance to spritz on... and on." $135 for 200 ml at Ulta.
All those rows of crystals make the Bonbon bottle look like a spider with too many legs. It’s creepy as hell and it’s all I can see when I look at it. They should have left well enough alone.
V&R are not known for leaving well enough alone 😉
I believe their motto is along the lines of “When Too Much is Not Enough”.
The V&R bonbon bottle also scares the hell out of me.
