The Body Shop will launch Black Musk, a new floriental fragrance for women. Black Musk follows Red Musk (2014) and Red Musk Oud (2015).
Black Musk was developed by perfumers Cécile Matton and Ralf Schweiger. The notes include bambinella pear, pink pepper, bergamot, licorice, heliotrope, ylang ylang, black musk, black vanilla and patchouli.
The Body Shop Black Musk debuts in October, in 50 ml Eau de Toilette, 60 ml Eau de Parfum and 20 ml Perfume Oil.

That damn pink peppercorn…haha 😀 But this could be an interesting choice for Body Shop 🙂
Could be! Red Musk was way less “daring” than they implied, so not expecting much from this one but we’ll see.
Agree 🙂
I loved red Musk so I am looking forward to this.
And I am a sucker with all perfumes with the word Black and Noir in it. So gullible to marketing ……
I am sort of the opposite: when it says Noir or Black, I’m EXTRA disappointed if it isn’t, in fact, Noir or Black. And it so often isn’t!
I don’t think the pear bodes well for noir-ness, but I’d certainly be happy to be proven wrong.
It hardly ever is. But it does have licorice in it….
With a list of notes like that, I have no idea what it will smell like. But while I missed the first Red Musk and refused RM Oud because oud, I will certainly give it a try. White Musk Libertine was so fabulous I stocked up, which is good since it appears it’s been discontinued. It looked like their Poppy scent was a step in the right direction. Crossing my fingers for this one.
