French cycling event Le Tour de France has launched an eponymous fragrance for the 2015 Tour de France, which starts on July 4. Le Tour de France was created under licensing arrangements with Cofinluxe.
Le Tour de France was developed by perfumer Henri Bergia. The notes include lavender, star anise, basil, fennel, cardamom, sandalwood, vetiver, patchouli, amber, oakmoss, leather and musk.
Le Tour de France is available in 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

In keeping with Tour de France tradition, this should contain banned perfume-enhancing substances such as real oakmoss, sandalwood and musk. 😉
In reality, it probably smells like the industrial-strength detergent used to launder sweaty cycling costumes.
yes–good idea!
My thought was that it should have synthetic musk, in honor of the performance I of enhancing synthetic male hormones used by so many contestants
Hah, perhaps there is an aroma chemical that stimulates testosterone production. 😉
Ha!
MUHAHAHA.
I logged in to say the same thing!
It should smell like lycra, sweat, energy gel, and bicycle tubing.
That would be worth trying, at least 🙂
Too bad they did not team up with CdG!
Sweat, blood, dirt and steroids?
