Italian niche line Nobile 1942 has launched Fougère Nobile, a new fragrance.
Fresh, vibrant and masculine, the fougere style is meant to stimulate the spirit and empower the wearer. With its bright, effervescent timelessness and rich aromatic soul, Fougere Nobile is a sparkling evocation of ocean breezes and rugged, wild coastline, a classically nostalgic fougere that transcends reductive simplicity with an earthy, richly resinous base.
The notes include bergamot, basil, lavender, black pepper, elemi, geranium, aldehydes, tobacco, vetiver, tonka bean, patchouli, sandalwood and white musk.
Nobile 1942 Fougère Nobile can be found now at Luckyscent, $125 for 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

The bottle looks even nicer that the rest in the range. And those notes: pant, pant, pant!
I am not a huge fan of fougeres, but this does sound really nice.
Having scanned the fragrantica page on aromatic forgeries I did only see 3 or 4 I like! In any case, the notes look very nice 🙂
Aromatic forgeries is a fantastic spellcheck blooper, thank you!
Made me laugh! Could we nominate all the new oud perfumes as possible forgeries, too? 🙂
Ha ha, I didn’t even notice it!
Hi Merlin, wouldn’t you mind to share these 3/4 gems with us? 🙂
Fabio, I like Lush’s Dirty very much. I also like Parfum d’Empires Fougere Bengale. A 3rd is JPG Le Male. Then there are many on the list I only THINK I would like, but have not managed to try – like Demeter’s Tomato, Shay & Blue Suffolk Lavender, Diptyque’s Eau d’Elide….
I like lavender as a note, so I think there are a few lavender soliflores there that would make me quite happy!
Warning – what is a gem to me could well be nausea-inducing to you. The Parfum d’Empire is particularly dividing 🙂
Thank you Merlin, I’ll give them a try!
