Niche line Keiko Mecheri has repackaged and expanded the Bespoke Collection. It is now called Keiko Mecheri Les Merveilles, and includes prior launches Ambre Mirabilis, Bal de Roses, Canyon Dreams, Cuir Fauve, Soussanne, Tangeri and Vetiver Velours. There are six new fragrances: Bohémes, Grand Soirée, Lunea, Musc Nobilis, Precious Forest and Velourosa.
Bohémes ~ "Fresh and sparkling, rich and floral, sweet and herbal, Bohémes is as eclectic and vibrant as the creative spirits and canyon dwellers who inspire it, weaving together the surrounding smells of a whole artistic community." With bergamot, aldehydes, rose, davana, plum and precious woods.
Grand Soirée ~ "The effect is elegant, gorgeous and lightly intoxicating, evoking perhaps the first stiff cocktail of the evening consumed in the shadow of a Carracci fresco...". [Update: with vanilla, tonka bean, leather, rose, toasted almond, amber and oud.]
Lunea ~ "An olfactory portrait of the breathless High Desert of Sierra Nevada, California, under the blue hour, where nocturnal romance reflects the wonder of a seemingly endless sky. With candied mandarin, neroli, myrrh, marzipan, rose, toffee, frankincense, precious woods and musk.
Musc Nobilis ~ "A scent for the sartorial vernacular of the modern man (though we think it's plenty sexy on anyone), with exceptional ingredients that make the scent direct, frank, and readable." With bigarade, musk, ambergris, suede leather and balsamic notes.
Precious Forest ~ "Precious Forest spirits you away to a mystical forest trapped in time, where rays of sunlight illuminate delectable fruits growing freely amongst the beautifully ancient trees, but also where the surreal floats visibly close to the veil of reality. " With citrus, galbanum, spice, rose, violet, plum, patchouli, teak wood, sandalwood, incense and amber.
Velourosa ~ "An oriental floral drawn from the glamorous aesthetic of Hollywood's golden age and the free-spirited fashions of the 1960's..." With citrus, rose, aldehydes, saffron, patchouli and benzoin.
Keiko Mecheri Bohémes, Grand Soirée, Lunea, Musc Nobilis, Precious Forest and Velourosa are sold in 50 ml Eau de Parfum, $220 each at Luckyscent.

Hmm. I have this irrational animosity towards Ms. Michero. I think it’s because she used to blatantly copy Serge Lutens with some of her perfumes. Loukhom and Genie du Bois are names and ideas that feel like rip-offs to me.
But as I’m aging I feel less idealistic so I really want to smell Musc Nobilis. I love suede notes and have allways been looking for a ‘direct, frank and readeable’ musk.
Also, French is far from my first language but I get these fake feeling about some of the names. I wonder how they sound to a native ear.
So sorry I missed your comment…anyway, she did used to seem to be copying Serge, but not in some time. I have never loved much from the brand, though.
