Artist Nina Frydlender has decorated limited edition collector bottles for six Penhaligon's fragrances. Shown above left to right are Lily of the Valley, Malabah and Artemisia; below are the bottles for Sartorial, Blenheim Bouquet and Endymion.*
The bottles are due to launch later this month, €850 for 500 (!) ml plus certificate of authenticity.
* I think I have the order right! Apologies in advance if I've screwed it up.

Cute for €85. For €850? Whatever!
I finally managed to see and sample Tralala up close and personal. Bottle was just weird, and scent did not live up to the billing.
Yeah, priced a little out of my market. But very cute.
I am pleased that none of the six are even fragrances I want. If they’d one a really gorgeous one for Elixir, I’d be pissed. Since yeah, €850.
Or you could buy a regular bottle and get a child to decoupage a sleeve for it…
LOL!
No offense to anyone but those bottles are creepy as heck to me and they are large, so large, creepy bottles. No way would I want one of those.
Oh, I do like some of them…and IF you liked them, of course the artwork would be nicer on a big bottle. But I don’t need that much perfume, of course.
Lily of the Valley bottle is GORGEOUS! (though its not the first thing I would do with a $850 that suddenly popped into my bank account 🙂 )
As regular readers/contributors/authors here may be aware, I am a big Penhaligon’s fan & wear Bluebell most of the time, but what on earth are they doing here? They do seem to be losing the plot somewhat, perhaps going for a different market? If so, not sure which market that would be…
Their fragrances used to be excellent value for money, not so much any more, it would seem.
Really not liking the bottles at all. I agree with Omega, they are a little creepy if you imagine them on a 500ml size. A little tacky too, frankly 🙂
Is that Twiggy on the Blenhaim Bouquet bottle? A bit of a mismatch. I would have imagined a more masculine take on it.
However, I’m very intrigued by this new line they released called Trade Routes. There’s one there (Lothair) which might be interesting: it is inspired by the Tea Clipper ships. I haven’t tried it yet, but it’s on my sniff list!
