French niche line Detaille has launched a new quartet of fragrances inspired by the age of Art Nouveau: Osmose, Bois d'Oud, Rose Nuit and Fleur de Peau.
Osmose ~ "A complex and delicate notes of lemon, bergamot with basil and ginger. A heart of orange blossom, pepper and tobacco, to finish with a touch of amber, cedar, vetiver and leather."
Bois d'Oud ~ "A delicately oriental scent, woody. A slight departure from Oud, Bergamot and Cistus. A heart of saffron and cedar Morocco, reinforced by tobacco, oud, cedar and patchouli."
Rose Nuit ~ "A fresh approach, tangerine and grapefruit that lead to discover the delicacy of peony, rose and osmanthus. A trail that reinforces a note of patchouli and white musk."
Fleur de Peau (not shown) ~ " Imagine a summer skin with hints of tangerine, bergamot, a heart with orange blossom reinforced by cedarwood. A final jasmine, tuberose and musk."
Detaille Osmose, Bois d'Oud, Rose Nuit and Fleur de Peau are available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum, €90 each.

Bottles are kinda cute. I’m a sucker for spirals 🙂
I think they’re gorgeous. No idea if they’re wonderful though…
So glad to see that Detaille is still with us! I bought Sheliane at a fall Sniffa a few years ago, and it has a gorgeous, skanky jasmine note in it. But…. New frags, new bottles, what does that spell? Ruh-roh, time to stock up on the old stuff. 🙂
Yes, had nearly forgotten they existed! I used to like their Aeroplane cologne…
