Elisabeth de Feydeau's* Arty Fragrance brand has launched Rêve de la Reine, a new fragrance inspired by Marie Antoinette's love of perfume and her gardens at Petit Trianon.
Rêve de la Reine is inspired by a remark Marie-Antoinette could have made to her perfumer Jean-Louis Fargeon: “I’m expecting you to put Trianon in a flask, she had asked to him. I love this place so much that I want to bring it with me everywhere I go”.
This Eau de parfum is not only a tribute to the Queen’s dream, which was the Petit Trianon and its flowery nature, but it’s also the perfume Marie-Antoinette could have been wearing while she was a queen and revisited in a modern way which made its originality.
A small notebook is slid into each box, in which Elisabeth de Feydeau tells the perfumes story at Marie-Antoinette’s time.
The notes include bergamot, petitgrain, mandarin, pink pepper, raspberry, galbanum, May rose, iris, cedar, sandalwood, benzoin, patchouli, tonka bean and musk.
Arty Fragrance Rêve de la Reine is available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum, €119.

The notebook sounds like a nice touch. Like the idea of that garden n a bottle! Does anyone know what it’s like?
