Niche line Nasomatto has launched Blamage, the line's tenth, and reportedly last, fragrance. Nasomatto founder Alessandro Gualtieri has since launched the Orto Parisi brand.
The fragrance is an unwise and unfortunate creation caused by bad judgement and care.
You can see a preview of the documentary film The Nose — Searching for Blamage here.*
Nasomatto Blamage is available in 30 ml Extrait de Parfum, €118.

*From the film's description: "For his tenth and last perfume for Nasomatto he considers the title Blamage. He wants to design it by making real mistakes and using coincidence, because he is inspired by some very famous perfumes that were created by mistakes during the process. The quest for Blamage takes him to the other side of the world, but the farther he goes, the more he is confronted with his restlessness and drive for perfection."
Ha, nice bottle… I wonder if it will be the same for all or if it’ll be affected by the wood imperfections.
Nasomatto still has to make a fregrance that i truly enjoy, I don’t even know why I bought Black Afgano.
I liked the jasmine one. Never bought any though.
Woops – shortsighted me thought that read Blancmange and I was imaging a vanilla/strawberry type confection!
Ha…somebody should make a scent called Blancmange!
I’m astonished that nobody has!
I assumed it was a corruption of “blancmange” too (since “blamage” is not actually an English word) until I went back and re-read it.
Just stick a cork in it, lol..or is that cheese?:). Ugly bottle.
