French niche line Parfumerie Générale has launched Grand Siècle Intense, a new variation on 2005's No. 7 Cologne Grand Siècle. Grand Siècle Intense joins Arabian Horse, Vétiver Matale and Cozé Verdé in the brand's Signature Collection range.
The “bitter hesperidic” accord of our Cologne Grand Siècle is reinterpreted here to draw its bracing, biting freshness towards an Eau de Parfum concentration. In the top notes, the citrus mosaic is dominated by the essence of bitter orange and lemon tree leaves, boosted with aromatic cypress and mint for added strength and diffusiveness. Tobacco absolute and newmown hay subtly warm the heart of the fragrance, bolstered by woody base notes of patchouli and vetiver, slightly tinged with honey and oak moss.
Parfumerie Générale Grand Siècle Intense is available in 30, 50 and 100 ml (€62 - €130).
