Vfiles, the online fashion community / social media / shopping site, has launched three fragrances: Femme, Homme and Sport.
Femme ~ "With notes of lily, carnation, chrysanthemum and a hint of mahogany this scent is flirtatiously captivating and sure to leave him (or her) in a flurry of unquenched ardor."
Homme ~ "Sulk in this soothingly sweet sea salt aroma, with hints of carbonated water and white rose - fit for captain and first mate alike on high seas of modern manhood."
Sport ~ "With a touch of eucalyptus, this unisexy ozone fragrance is sure to wrap you in the abiding aroma of sensual steamroom sensations. Towels optional."

Are you going to review these? I’m interested in hearing what Homme is like.
I seriously doubt it…I don’t have any way to get samples & am not likely to buy them unsniffed!
Two observations:
1. I must be older than their demographic, since I’ve never heard of VFiles,
2. Is *every* unrelated-to-fragrance organization required to release perfumes these days?, and
3. I am a snarky person, but I am weary of tongue-in-cheek advertising. Just give me a list of notes and go away.
OK, make that 3. Three observations.
1. Ditto.
2. Yes!
3. At least they did say what they might smell like! Take a look at Vince Camuto Femme, posted earlier today — it’s like they want to discourage any possible interest by only using the vaguest possible perfume-ad-copy sort of terms. They might as well have just said “smells good” and taken the afternoon off.
I think it’s interesting that chrysanthemum is listed as a note in Femme… I feel like I haven’t seen that too often, although I’ve read that this is partially due to associations with this flower and funerals/death in some European countries. It’s in De Profundis, but Serge and Sheldrake obviously did that on purpose.
Also, what does “carbonated water” as a note mean? Does that mean it has a fizzy quality?
I’d guess fizzy, but really I have no idea.
Trying to figure out what on earth a perfume ad copywriter is trying to convey is a task beyond us all…
