UK niche line Tom Daxon has launched Crushing Bloom, a new fragrance for women.
This is Tom Daxon’s first floral fragrance and it is a beauty, with dark, dreamy undercurrents and a scintillating dose of hyper-realism. Like those works of art that capture, with exquisite precision, the brilliant, tiny details that one would miss in real life, Crushing Bloom creates a bouquet that is so evocative and vivid that it is almost otherworldly.
The notes feature muguet, cardamom, pink pepper, black pepper, rose, jasmine, iris, oakmoss, vetiver and silken musks.
Tom Daxon Crushing Bloom can be found now at Luckyscent, in 50 ml Eau de Parfum, $180.

Is this the same guy who designs lamps?
Wow, no idea, sorry.

From what I can gather, he’s not a perfumer, but a perfume producer. He has perfumers creating fragrances for him.
Oh, yes, I assumed that — it’s true of 95% of these small niche lines. I usually use the term “indie niche” if they’re doing their own stuff, but I guess not always.
Crushin… what? ……………As I set this Sat morning with my coffee to read the latest … I’m reading Crushing BROOM! ….? How timely, I thought, right in time for Halloween…… my imaginative thoughts on how brooms of all those witches might have smelled like got crushed (Sic!) by the fact that I read the name incorrectly. I was crushed!
So sorry 😉
