Victoria’s Secret has launched Victoria’s Secret Angel Dream, a new fragrance for women. Angel Dream* is a flanker to 2011’s Victoria’s Secret Angel.
Capture the glamour and thrill of the runway with our new vibrant, dazzling scent. This luxe eau de parfum wraps skin in the captivating scent of lace violet, iridescent currant and sheer sandalwood.
Victoria’s Secret Angel Dream is available in 30 and 75 ml Eau de Parfum and in 250 ml Body Mist.

*Not to be confused with Victoria's Secret Dream Angels, or any of its flankers.
What in the sam hill is lace violet. Did they mean lacy violet (equally unhelpful)?
Seriously, that is bothering you more than iridescent currant??
(j/k)
Weirdly, yes 😉 I can at least picture a currant dipped in iridescent nail polish. When I think of lace/lacy violet all I think of is a garden with bug issues.
And I would like to officially complain at that shockingly brief flanker name. I’ve learned to expect long strings of words that don’t necessarily go together for VS flankers. Surely Victoria’s Secret Angel Fluffy Pink Sexy Dream is more in line with the brand…
It’s almost intensely lame, given how many other fragrances they have with ‘Dream’ in the title. Clearly, they have run out of steam over there.
SnailsPajamas, your crankiness is cracking me up this morning! Thanks! 😀
What happened to the fragrances in the past that VS made that were epic and classic? The last decent fragrance they made was “Bombshell”. Used to be a huge fan of their fragrances. Now, they are like a dime a dozen. I prefer quality over quantity.
New demographic to cater to, I guess. Once VS’s image was a fully grown woman, with an emphasis on romance. I fully remember those days. Victoria (the original blue top oriental scent) was an absolutely gorgeous scent – their original Garden stuff when they were starting to phase out just re-branded Penhaligons stuff (anyone else remember that? Bluebell and Her Majesty’s Rose (= Bluebell and Elizabethan Rose from Penhaligon’s – for a while, early on, they were even sold in the same style bottles!) and sell their own blends was great too (I used to wear Freesia and also the Juniper scents). I still get my stuff (not perfume!) from there as I still find the plain cotton and Body lines very comfortable, but other than that, it seems to be split between increasingly tackier stuff for adults and that horrible Pink line clearly geared for college and high school girls.
Clearly, their new audience values newness above all else.
Yes, back in the ’80s or whenever, VS did sophisticated, retro lingerie. Now it’s all pouty models with boob jobs and fake angel wings and eight million fruity body sprays with ridiculous juvenile names. The lingerie has taken a real nosedive in quality, too — it’s more shoddily made than your standard department store Maidenform/Vanity Fair stuff.
