New York-based clothing retailer Odin New York has launched 11 Semma, a new unisex fragrance.
Semma is a collection of notes from distant lands veiled in mystery. A vibrant composition blended in discoveries of sweet tobacco leaf and warm myrrh. Core spices of Cinnamon bark and herbaceous clove intertwine within the brightness of fresh chili pepper. Aged sandalwood and powdery tonka bean uncover a buoyancy both familiar and enduring.
Odin 11 Semma is available now for pre-order at Barneys, in 100 ml Eau de Toilette Parfum for $165.

Being a longtime Monty Python fan, I’m embarrassed to say how I first (mis)read the perfume’s name 🙂
Ok, I am likewise a longtime MP fan, but not really an ardent one — I haven’t memorized huge chunks of dialogue, etc. So I’m afraid I have given it some thought and still don’t know what you thought you read 🙂
It’s the name of one of the characters from the How Not To Be Seen skit. Here you go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifmRgQX82O4&persist_app=1&app=desktop&guid=&hl=en-GB&gl=US&client=mv-google
😀
So sorry, R, I should have tinyurl-ed the link!
Oh, no need — thanks so much, I honestly don’t think I had ever seen that one! Nice break for a Tuesday morning.
I’ve never tried anything by Odin but a few of their fragrances sound good to me. This one especially does.
I have not tried them all, but I do think they generally do a better job than most, if that helps.
This sounds right up my alley:) Need to test this!!!! I haven’t tried this line but this one calls to me!
The only one I’ve tried is Petrana and I liked it – but not enough to buy a bottle.
I need to get a saample of this. I was at Barneys 3x in the last 2 weeks and had this on my to request list since it was featured in their beauty floor launch catalogue.
Oh wow, it looks like something I’d like. Tobacco, myrrh and clove… Honestly I have yet to find an Odin scent that I don’t like:). I loved Nomad (or is it running under a new name now) and am madly in love with Century (mmm:) and boy does he love me back!) . The line deserves a lot more attention IMO. 🙂
Sounds nice!
