Lisa Hoffman has launched Kerala Ashok, the line's sixth fragrance:
Like India's sacred gardens, the fragrant beauty of Kerala Ashok Garden nurtures inner strength & balance. Lyrical notes of Deep Violet, Ripe Pear, Velvety Apricot & Sheer Jasmine perfectly harmonize with the Ashok flower's spiritual essence while Musky Amber & Green-Floral Spice centers you with reflective calm.
Lisa Hoffman Kerala Ashok is available in 60 ml Eau de Parfum, $65, and will be coming soon in the brand's line of fragrance beads and jewelry.

I know the name alone is going to raise some eyebrows, coming so quickly on the heels of Neela Vermiere’s Ashoka launch. But: violets, apricots and pears do not grow in Kerala. It just *irks* me when a scent is named something to evoke a specific place, and given notes that have nothing to do with that place.
