Aus Liebe Zum Duft, the German fragrance retailer better known to English-speakers as First in Fragrance, has launched No. 1 Extreme, a new variation on their 2009 fragrance, Aus Liebe Zum Duft No. 1.
Like the original, No. 1 Extreme was developed by perfumer Marc vom Ende:
So by popular demand, we once again teamed up with Marc and worked meticulously to create a No. 1 that would be soft, feminine and sensual with a higher perfume concentration.
And we’ve succeeded: In the top note a lemon-fresh tartness dominates, while the central element of the fragrance is still leather. Unlike its predecessor however, it’s not a cool, smooth leather, but buttery soft suede, combined with distinctive woody notes that forms a true “Amour Fou” with balsamic ambergris. The heart is enriched with animalistic tendencies and underlined by strangely enticing spices. “No. 1 contains a plethora or ingredients that I love", says Marc vom Ende, "Such as fresh ginger and cardamom which are spices that we all know and love from exotic cuisine.” Smooth jasmine blossoms in the background and with its heady scent create an interesting refraction that is underlined once again by a very warm and powdery base.
And all this in a stunning concentration of 28% - so hopefully we’ve enticed you enough to try it for yourself!
Aus Liebe zum Duft No. 1 Extreme is available now at First in Fragrance, in 100 ml Eau de Parfum, €125.
