Hiram Green, formerly of Scent Systems, has launched his first fragrance under his own name, Moon Bloom:
Moon Bloom is a lush and elegant tuberose themed eau de parfum. Tuberose is a tropical night blooming flower. Often referred to as ‘the mistress of the night’, tuberose is an admired theme in perfumery because of its soft and creamy but also powerful and narcotic aroma.
Moon Bloom includes generous amounts of tuberose absolute, jasmine absolute and ylang ylang. There are also notes of coconut, leafy greens and hints of tropical spices and resins.
Hiram Green Moon Bloom is made from natural materials, and is available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum or 5 ml travel atomizer.

This actually sounds rather interesting. I love the name. Not so fond of the bottle though, as it seems to have a bit of a split personality and doesn’t know if it wants to be a vintage style atomiser or a bottle of medicine!
I like the bottle, but hate all bulb atomizers on principle…they don’t tend to keep the fragrance fresh.
This is a problem with all natural sprays too, and all perfumes kept in half full bottles. The only way to overcome it is an aerosol pressurised with inert gas, but ironically you only seem to see this at the cheap end of the market.
I was just told that some new type bulb atomizers have spray dispensers that are better than some atomizers! This made an impression on me because the bulb atomizers are so pretty but I have always avoided them, preferring to save my perfume from degradation. I’m very curious to see and try a new one in person.
Ah, could be. I will have a hard time letting go of my prejudice though.
