Indie natural line Providence Perfume Co has launched Mousseline Pêche:
A new limited edition eau de toilette born of the collaboration between fashion designer Jonathan Joseph Peters, of Project Runway and our Providence Perfume Co. perfumer Charna Ethier. A fragrance inspired by the softest, sheerest peach mousseline de soie, the fabric of choice for the designer's summer resort collection.
The sweet smell of peach skin warming in the sun,
A feather light frock of the palest silk mousseline,
Bronzed skin kissed with lush ylang ylang, rose and tonka.
The notes feature yuzu, pink grapefruit, rosewood, peach accord, ylang ylang, rose otto, tonka, vetiver and spun sugar (natural maltol).
Providence Perfume Co Mousseline Pêche is available in 15 ml Eau de Toilette ($50).

Providence make such beautiful fragrances. I finally got a bottle of Indolice, a monumental mushroom chypre. Cocoa Noir was also intensely interesting (and I love when a brand shares common skeletal structure, as this line seems to). Packaging is never glitzy, but the perfume should be sold in tiny crystal bottles, or better yet, opaque ceramic with ground glass stoppers…!
I really like several of them…she does a great job.
I’ve sampled several of her scents, and they shared a certain earthiness that I did not like. Having said that, I am going to sample this new one 🙂
Never hurts to keep trying 🙂
Robin, did you ever try the Moss Gown? I’m really intrigued by that one, but thought that $12 was a bit too steep for a “blind sample”.
You know, I just did not love Moss Gown…I thought I would, but I just didn’t. I like Indolice, Tabac Citron, Hindu Honeysuckle, and I think I liked Eva Luna too but now I can’t remember. I think Jessica reviewed it.
I plan to buy this today.
Tried a sample and used it all up-perfect for summer, I think. someone mentioned not liking the earthiness of some of the brand. I see that in a few, but none so much as say a Mandy
Aftel which is too much for me. This peach has none of that. it is light as a feather with just enough spice to keep it intriguing.
