Niche line Thirdman has launched Eau Nomade, the brand's fourth fragrance.
In the latest Thirdman fragrance, Eau Nomade, a spice market appears like an olfactory mirage in a fresh grove of lemon and blood orange trees as the heat of the sun releases their aromatic oils into the atmosphere. Eau Nomade’s minimalism is momentarily belied by the many facets of spicy, warming cardamom, facets that range from gingerlike and sweet, to sweaty and musky. Cardamom subtly adds this complex olfactory dimension to the juiciness of Sicilian lemon and blood orange, without ever betraying Eau Nomad’s fundamental freshness and sheerness.
Eau Nomade was developed by perfumer Bruno Jovanovic.
Thirdman Eau Nomade is available now at Luckyscent, in 100 ml Eau de Cologne, $105.

Update: In 2016, Eau Nomade was renamed Eau Contraire.
Well, I am a sucker for cardamom.
I thought the first three in this line were nicely done — went through a large-ish sample of Eau Moderne and wouldn’t mind a FB. (EM is the one with iris and bitter orange.)
I am too! This does sound really nice.
Oooh, just saw this in the Luckyscent newsletter and was totally intrigued.
It definitely looks worth a try 🙂
This sounds good as I like cardamom.
I just ordered Eau Moderne the other day — unsniffed — because bitter orange and iris sounded good to me, and $75 for 50ml seemed better than free. Every now and then I still get a little crazy.
Hey, for crazy, $75 is not so bad 🙂
Well, ultimately, Moderne is just “okay” as colognes go. To refer to last week’s conversation here, I’d sooner take one of the Diptyque eaux any day!
Oh, so sorry to hear that since you’ve already bought it. Hope you can swap it away or something.
