Indie line Smell Bent has launched Smell Bent — The Comic Book, Issue 1:

we’ve been telling stories with perfume for a while now. and then one day, we had a bright idea. why not tell a story about perfume? we teamed up with awesome illustrated Andrew Herman to create a book with action, adventure, and most importantly, amazing scents.

Issue 1 is $8, and launches in conjunction with Sweet Tyranny, a new fragrance:

Our first double deluxe, ultra-premium perfume. Crafted around creamy orris root and natural Indian sandalwood, two of the most beautiful ingredients available. A little bit fancier perhaps, but still quintessentially smell bent!

Notes include orris root, orange, incense, aged patchouli, Indian sandalwood, bourbon vanilla, vetiver and authoritarian musk.

Smell Bent Sweet Tyranny in available in 5 ml Eau de Parfum rollon or 50 ml Eau de Parfum Spray; the 50 ml comes with the comic book. Samples are also available, with or without the comic book, as is a coffret set, "The Resistance", featuring other comic book character fragrances. They can be purchased at the Smell Bent website.
