Laura Mercier has launched Ambre Vanillé, the latest addition to the brand’s Eau Gourmande collection:
Laura Mercier captures the essence of her signature Body & Bath Collection with Eau Gourmande.
The soft sensuality of Amber blends effortlessly with the warm comfort of vanilla to create a fragrance of feminine elegance and sophistication. Infused with fresh floral notes of tangerine, tiger orchid and heliotrope, and enhanced by almond, brown sugar, coconut and sandalwood—the effect is an intimate, personal fragrance that is rich, yet discreet.
Laura Mercier Ambre Vanillé is available in 50 ml Eau de Toilette, $50, and can be found now at Neiman Marcus or Nordstrom.

Certainly worth a sniff, though LM fragrances tend to be a bit heavy for me. Surely this would be a better fall launch, however?
You would think!
I adore two discontinued LM fragrances – Minuit Enchante and Ambre Passion Velvet. I hope this is a good substitute! *Fingers crossed*
Good luck! I know a lot of people love the body products in Ambre Vanille.
Oh boy, amber and vanilla — my two least favorite notes bundled together. 🙂
Money saved!
I tried the body cream and wow was it strong. I would also say this is more about the amber than the vanilla I found at least with the cream. I was a little disappointed with this one and agree it would have been better for a fall launch as it is pretty heavy.
Sounds too sweet for me I think.
But I do love amber though.
