Cerruti will launch Acqua Forte, a new fragrance for men. Acqua Forte is a modern reinterpretation of a classic Eau de Cologne, and is fronted by French guitarist Thomas Dutronc.
The notes feature yuzu, cardamom, cascalone (aquatic note), basil, cashmere wood and rosewood.
Cerruti 1881 Acqua Forte will be available in March; I will update with sizes and concentration when I can find them.

Update: Cerruti 1881 Acqua Forte is sold in 75 and 125 ml Eau de Toilette.
I like the original 1881.
I’ve never smelled it.
I just tried it yesterday: the bottle is not particularly pretty, the perfume is sort of bright green, a bit darker than Mugler Cologne, and it looks a little cheap. However, lovely cologne: it’s a bit on the herbal side, very bright yuzu in the opening and a nice woody basenote. The footprint of the original Cerruti 1881 is there, but in a sort of younger and summery way. I do like it a lot, probably I’ll get a large bottle for summer.
Thanks for the report!
