Creed will launch Fleurs de Gardenia (shown above), a new* fragrance for women, next month, although it will not go into general distribution until 2013.
With this delicate fragrance...sixth-generation master perfumer Olivier CREED, looks beyond our times to revive innocence and the first bloom of love. In his French country workshop, Olivier CREED hand blends First Love gardenias, which grow only in pairs, Double Blush roses, lavender peonies, Lily of the Valley and other ingredients hand selected by Erwin CREED to rewrite romance the way it was – and can be again – a pure, gentle, dreamlike reality of full hearts and soaring spirits.
Creed has also reintroduced Acqua Fiorentina, under the name Acqua Fiorentina The Encore:
In response to his clients’ standing ovation for Acqua Fiorentina -– a fragrance unavailable in the US for years -- sixth-generation master perfumer Olivier CREED in Paris presents a gift to his American audience: Acqua Fiorentina, The Encore, a fresh blend of the beloved fragrance sure to be embraced by loyal fans and new clients alike. In a special touch, Mr. CREED adds Diamond Jubilee Apple to the blend, honoring the royal year 2012. For the added pleasure of his clients, he offers Acqua Fiorentina Perfumed Oil, an alcohol-free alternative for the eco-minded who wish to enjoy fragrance a new -- and even exotic -- way.
Acqua Fiorentina The Encore is a fruity floral with notes of greengage plum, Diamond Jubilee Apples, pruneau, roses, carnations, pear, bergamot, lemon, Virginia cedar, sandalwood and grapefruit. It is available in 30, 75 and 250 ml, concentration unknown.

* I do not know if it is related to the earlier Creed perfume of the same name, which was launched in 2006 as a limited edition.
More gardenias! Another one to add to my list of new gardenia releases to come. \(^o^)/ Creed and I have not got along too well in the past, but I will certainly try this one.
I used to like their Jasmal (I say used to because haven’t smelled it in ages), and the one tea rose that I can’t remember what it’s called. Most of the line doesn’t suit me. But also haven’t tried the last few new ones.
Robin, I believe you were referring to Fleur de The Rose Bulgare? I absolutely adore that one!
Yes, thank you!
hmmm, not sure ive ever given a standing ovation to a perfume – Their ad copy is always very pompous!
I have a feeling it’s a good fit w/ their customer base — not to say they’re pompous, but I think many people are impressed w/ the “sixth-generation master perfumer” stuff.
Please, no more gardenias! lol Not much into apples or pears either.
Sorry!
This (the gardenia) sounds like a Creed I might have to try!
He hand blends gardenias etc? I assume that’s their way of saying he hand blends the accords? Grrr
