Yves Rocher has launched Monoï Eau des Vahinés, a new summer fragrance for women that hopes to evoke the scent of holidays in the South Pacific.
The notes include tiare, ylang ylang and vanilla.
Yves Rocher Monoï Eau des Vahinés is available in 100 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching body products.

And where is the coconut? 🙂
I would be very surprised if it did not smell like coconut, even though they did not list it separately in the notes.
I assume the coconut note will be part of the macerated “tiare”? 🙂 I do like their Monoi oil; it’s cheap (as in, cost) and heady, with the ever-so-slight trashiness I love from tiare. Tiare always smells so ripe and sultry.
It’s GOT to have coconut to be monoi! Real monoi de Tahiti is only made with pure coconut oil. In fact, it’s AOC-protected.
I just bought the shower gel of this and find it a bit cloying. However their tiaré shower gel is amazing, reminds me of Manoumalia and costs $3 at the moment.
Good to know, thanks!
Okay, you had me at “reminds me of Manoumalia.” Lately I’ve been hooked on the Yves Rocher ylang-ylang shower gel, but the tiaré variety is going in my next order. Thanks!
Uh I have Yves Rocher self-tanning lotion that claims to smell like tiare flower. To me the smell is reeeally cloying and induces headache very quickly, so I’ll be sure to stay pretty far from this one… hehe 😀
