New York-based indie line Joya has launched Âmes Sœurs (Scent of Soul Mates), described as "an orange blossom wrapped in incense, smoke and musk".
Additional notes include tamarind, grapefruit, cypress, rose, ginger, cedar and amber.
Joya Âmes Sœurs is available in 10 ml roll-on Parfum ($28, shown above) or in a limited edition 15g solid perfume in porcelain vessel cast by Sarah Cihat with 24k gold plated brass lid by Michael Miller ($500, not shown). It can be purchased at Henri Bendel in New York City or directly from the Joya website.

This is the fragrance that’s associated with M. J. Rose’s novel I believe. For that price, I’m pretty sure I’m going to pick up the 10 mL.
Yes, & they were launched together. But Joya does not mention the novel in the fragrance description.
I love this scent and at that price it IS a steal. It has a scent similarity to Joya’s other main scents, No. 1 and No. 6, but is unique. It’s not severely dissimilar from Jacomo It’s Me, but it’s even less expensive. Plus an oil, so it wears close and a bit sweet.
no.6 sounds fantastic from the notes listed on their website…
Thanks — look forward to trying it!
