Avon’s Mark brand has launched Hamptons, the latest in their Instant Vacation series of fragrances for women:
Escape to a haven of laid-back luxury. Notes of watery green floral, cotton flower, white freesia and driftwood capture the spirit of the sea and the sophistication of the scene in a single transporting spritz.
The notes feature cotton flower, lush dew drops, ocean air, white freesia, watery muguet, clear musk and blonde wood.
Mark Hamptons Instant Vacation is available in 50 ml Eau de Toilette, $20.

I love the idea of an instant transporting spritz to a holiday destination or any destination. To me, that’s what perfumes do sometimes. For instance, CB I Hate Perfume Room with a View can transport me to Provence or Florence and Annick Goutal Un Matin d’Orage takes me back to my childhood home in Tokyo. I’ve never been to the Hamptons, but I would love to try this one.
It’s not a bad idea for a series, although there are LOTS of fragrances inspired by specific places now.
I need to try one by CB I Hate Perfume, forgot what it was called but sounded up my alley:). I like watery scents at times. Like true ocean smelling fumes. A super great one that is just wonderful, is Azur by Thymes. Makes you feel right by the sea.
Don’t think I am a huge freesia fan but for 20 bucks..that’s a cheap vacation!
Ha…yes it is!
Oh and from the Azur line I have tried the shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, all smell lovely. Haven’t tried the body water yet. This line is a must try if you ask me.
Perfume is often a vacation in a bottle for me, and the notes for this one sound nice, though I haven’t had a lot of luck with Avon perfumes in the past. Still, one must keep trying….
Its cold now, where I live, and those notes sound CHILLY!
