Indie line Smell Bent has launched Liberty For All, a new unisex fragrance to benefit Liberty Wildlife:
in case you hadn’t noticed, we’ve kinda got a thing for animals. so do the folks over at liberty wildlife. when they asked us to come up with a perfume to help celebrate their annual fundraiser, we were happy to oblige.
based in phoenix, az (our old hometown), liberty wildlife is dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of desert wildlife. they care for injured birds and animals and aid in their eventual release back into the wild. liberty wildlife serves the vital task of connecting the city to the natural world of the surrounding desert.
one of our favorite memories of our phoenician adolescence is the smell of orange blossoms in the desert spring. so that is where our composition begins. and though it goes without saying, liberty for all was designed to be enjoyed by both men and women. desert orange blossom with bergamot, ozone, tonka bean, hay, vetyver and sandalwood.
for each full bottle purchased, $25 will be donated directly to liberty wildlife
Smell Bent Liberty For All can be purchased now at the Smell Bent website, $49 for 50 ml, or, make a $10 donation and get a free travel spray.

Okay, I’m a sucker for animals so you know I’ll be getting this just because. Not to mention it doesn’t sound like a fruity floral with pink pepper which makes me want it even more.
I’m a sucker for hay. I ordered before the actual announcements went out…*blushing* Given how long it took to get through to where I could see the info on it, I think I may have caught it as they were putting the page up.
I’m a sucker for hay too, but not for ozone. Nice cause though.
I bought a full size. If the ozone renders it unwearable, my office at least can smell good!
Guess what just came in the mail, yay!
It’s very soft and powdery-dry on me, and I’m not picking up the ozone at all. I am getting a very good hit of that sandalwood though, and the hay makes it nicely sweet.
Thanks for reporting back!
Those notes sound good, and that’s an excellent cause.
And a nice percentage going to the charity, which isn’t always the case!
This does sound good and rather desert-y! Brent’s such a good guy – his fragrance last year for the Breast Cancer drive was really nice.
I think I missed that one!
The Pink Party? I think I still have a sample around, unless I gave it to my sister. It smelled like lime lifesavers on me.
