Brooklyn-based indie perfumers DS & Durga will launch Bowmakers, a new unisex fragrance, in May:
Amongst the transcendental woods of the 1800s, craftsmen from the Massachusetts Bay Colony built violins & bows in the tiny towns of the Pioneer Valley. The shops were riddled with old growth mahogany, burled maple shavings, amber pine rosin, aged walnut & their unique secret varnishes.
DS & Durga Bowmakers will be available in 30 ml, concentration unknown, for $110.

So… A splash of this and I’ll smell like a cabinet shoppe? Awesome.
I hope so…I love that smell!
Hmm, sounds interesting. Lots of different woods in there – I wonder how this will translate. Hopefully not dominated by pine.
I would not mind — there aren’t enough good pine fragrances out there.
Oh, gosh – I will have to smell this – since I live in and love the Pioneer Valley – and since it sounds really nice.
Wow, then yes you do have to try it! Fun.
