Italian niche line Nobile 1942 has launched La Danza delle Libellule, a new fragrance for women:
La Danza delle Libellule (the dance of the dragonflies) is a fragrance to devote to yourself, when femininity cries out, claiming some time for frivolousness, cuddles and the gentle insouciance that all women deserve. In every woman there is still a little girl, eager to play and dream of fairy-tale atmospheres: Dukes, Counts and Marquises, majestic castles and servants, lush gardens and magnificent dresses, adorned with pearls and precious stones, jolly trips and idle pastimes, romantic encounters and love intrigues ... All these elements form the background to the melody conceived by Franz Lehar, who composed the “Dance of the Dragonflies”, an operetta that met with great success.
With this inspiration La Danza delle Libellule by Nobile 1942, brings all the lightness necessary to soothe even the most troubled hearts. Pure vanilla, a so-called gourmand fragrance that warms the heart and envelops you in a sugary cloud. It is good our soul to be pampered and loved, in an Epicurean joie de vivre, with moderation but also indulgence with ourselves.
The notes feature bergamot, apple, cedar, cinnamon, musk, vanilla and coconut.
Nobile 1942 La Danza delle Libellule can be found now at First in Fragrance in Germany, in 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

I find the concept behind this fragrance kind of insulting towards women.
Gosh. I’m sure you’re right, but the ad copy is so often insulting (towards women and/or men) that I rarely notice! But you’re right that this is perhaps especially condescending.
Wow, this ad copy is terrible in that it seems to use a lot of words to say almost nothing, like so many of them. I suspect it loses something in the translation from French (or may be Italian?).
Italian.
Think I’ll pass on this so-called gourmand fragrance!
The ad copy doesn’t bother me, but admit apple + cinnamon is not appealing to me.
Sugary? I’m not 14 thank and Praise God. What an awful age and to pair it with escada and love struck and this. Your friends will think you a softy. The sweetest I got as a young woman was CASHMERE BY ??? The little Jeanie bottle with swirls in glass and the gold top —anyone remember those days?
Probably the Donna Karan?
