More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US.
From Jean Paul Gaultier, travel "flasks" for the Le Mâle (shown) and Le Mâle Terrible fragrances. In 125 ml Eau de Toilette. (via prime-beaute)
From Comptoir Sud Pacifique, a special bottle of Aqua Motu celebrating the scent's 20th anniversary. In 30 or 100 ml Eau de Toilette. (via beaute-addict)
From Cacharel, limited edition travel sprays (25 ml) of five of their most popular fragrances: Scarlett, Noa, LouLou, Amor Amor and Anaïs Anaïs. Due to launch in April. (via fr.elle.be)
From Lisa Hoffman, fragrance earrings to match her necklaces and bracelets. Each earring holds a replaceable wooden bead scented with one of the brand's five fragrances. $65 a pair at Lisa Hoffman.
From Custo Barcelona, collector editions of the brand's Pure Custo fragrances (possibly the juice is tweaked as well). Both are in 100 ml and are decorated with a "sequin" motif. (via moodiereport)
I like the JPG flask concept, although I have no interest in the juice.
The scented earrings is an odd concept. I’d like to try it but not for that price.
Sticking seqins on a bottle does not make it special. I envision years of picking stray sequins off the carpet.
The Cacharel sounds interesting, however 25 ml is a big “travel size” I carry 10ml decants and that’s more than enough.
I don’t think those are real sequins, they’re just meant to look like sequins 🙂
Le Male bottle looks well, even better than torso maybe…
Makes two.
I do like the torso, but this is nice too.
They probably changed the bottle so they can sell the fragances in Saudi Arabia, I was told they couldnt display the torsos there.
I tried le male terrible after Kevin’s review here and liked better than le male, even gave it as a present to “someone”.
Kokorico is so weird, green and cocoa. I havent decided whether I like it or not
Le Male Terrible is still around, evidently. I haven’t even seen it. I would be interested in smelling it, in theory. I still haven’t seen Kokorico, either. BAH!
Where are you based? Kokorico is *everywhere!* in the UK! 🙂
I can’t remember now if Terrible was distributed in the US? I don’t think Kokorico is supposed to get here til next year.
Those Gaultier flasks make me wish I liked Le Male. Also, I was under the impression that LouLou was discontinued. Revelation!
As far as travel-friendly bottles go, though, in my opinion YSL’s Rive Gauche cans have yet to be topped. Try to break one of those things; can’t be done. They’re also light-proof, non-leaking, and weigh about as much as a pack of gum, even in 100 ml.
Agree — those were great bottles!
I also thought LouLou was discontinued. But then, I hardly ever see Cacharel stuff in stores, aside from the occasional Anais Anais at TJ Maxx.
