Calvin Klein will launch the annual limited edition summer versions of Eternity in March. Eternity Summer and Eternity for Men Summer hope to "evoke the sun on sparkling water".
Eternity Summer ~ with Japanese Pear Martini accord, orange blossom, bergamot, gardenia, peony, hyacinth, heliotrope, tonka bean and white musk. In 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
Eternity for Men Summer ~ featuring melon, camomile, juniper berry, cedar leaf, mimosa, hyacinth, violet leaf, guaiac wood, amber, patchouli and musk. In 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

The male and female Eternity and Obsession (on their regular versions) spell HEADACHE CITY for me…
Does anybody know if the flankers resemble the original in any way?
Thanks
I have the 2010 women’s flanker which I got for free when I worked in fragrance retail.
I would say it definitely bears similarity to Eternity, although I prefer the flanker to the original… I think the 2010 flanker is more floral than the original which is the reason I tolerate it better. It still has Iso E Super though, I think, and that is a no-go for some people.
Also, I think they tweak the summer flankers each year… or at least they claim to.
Thank you!
I believe you are right in that they slightly change each year. I have eternity summer from my pre-perfumista days (can’t remember exactly, maybe 2005) and it is definitely different than one I sniffed at the counter last summer.
The Eternity flankers are usually lighter & more summery, but have not smelled them all!
I will risk it then…
Of the flankers from Calvin Klein, the one I like the most is CK One Electric, but I procrastinated on buying it, and as murphy’s law goes, it is no longer available in Argentina hehehehehe
I am big fan of Juniper berries and I am seeing a trend on this on all the latest releases (A*Men Pure Shot, this Eternity, etc.)
What do you think? Am I wrong?
Could be — I’m not noticing, but that doesn’t mean much.
Boy, is this a fragrance that lives up to its name. Its been around for an Eternity, it lasts for an Eternity, the sillage takes an Eternity to disperse… 😉
LOL — true!
Japanse pear martini accord…. yum. I used to really like the original Eternity… back when it first came out! I haven’t tried any of its new versions though. This one sounds as if it could smell nice.
