The 8th and last of our 2011 series of holiday gift posts. Today's focus: budget gifts and stocking stuffers, listed in order of price (low to high).

From Tokyo Milk, travel candle tins at a budget price. Shown is Poe's Tobacco, which is currently on mark down at b-glowing for $6.
From Big Pine Mountain, spruce-scented soaps wrapped in plaid flannel. $7.50 each at eBubbles.
Two personal favorites of mine, from EO: Rose & Chamomile Shower Gel (480 ml; $12.99) and Hinoki & Ginger Warming Bath Salts (624 g; $11.99) at EO Products.
From Sonoma Scent Studio, scented shea creams in Lavender Absolute, Velvet Rose or Fig Tree. $18 each at Sonoma Scent Studio.
From Coach, the Coach Poppy Scented Crayons: "Give her Coach Poppy and Poppy Flower fragrances in a pair of go-anywhere portable scented crayons and sharpner [sic]." $25 at Dillards.
Oh c'mon, everyone wants one! From Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Lovers range, Jingle G: "Jingle all the way with Jingle G! A warm, cozy fragrance, this fruity-oriental scent is perfect for nuzzling underneath the mistletoe." $25 at Sephora.
Moving up the price scale but still reasonably affordable, the Elton John holiday candle from Nest: "Elton John Holiday Candle has a combination of evergreen and balsam fir needles with rich woods and citrus. This delicious blend will dazzle your family and friends, and fill your home with the scent of a fresh cut Christmas tree." $38 at Candle Luxury.
OMG! those Big Pine Mountain soap packaging look awesome – I like that red-green patterned (second from the left, on top) most.
The Poe’s Tobacco candle might smell nice too
I like the Big Pine Mountain soaps, too. They remind me of good flannel pajamas!
Yes, they’re really cute.
Oh, I’m so gonna buy that Elton John Holiday Candle! I’ve been looking for a good scent during my ‘Christmas party’ and this just might be the one. That has nothing to do with the fact that I’m a big fan of EJ by the way (or does it… :))
It sounds like it smells delicious, too!
It sure does! Always been a big fan of woodsy/mossy scents, especially in the winter.
I just said the same thing, got to get that…
I think it comes in a votive set too. If you buy it, would love to hear if it’s good!
I don’t know if the Elton John holiday candle scent is the same every year, but I smelled one from a few years ago (2009 or 2008, I think) and I thought it smelled wonderful.
My husband’s a musician, and I’m soooo tempted to get him one of these for his home studio!
The candle is very cool! I don’t think of Christmas when I think of Elton John but that would be a fabulous gift for a person with eclectic good taste.
I don’t care for Poppy but I love perfume pencils. Good for Coach.
LOL Jingle G! Best G evr!
It really is the best. They ought to do the Easter bunny next.
Ha! I already have my Jingle G. I can’t get it out of the stupid plastic tube box thingy! Grr.
That Elton John candle is gorgeous. I have some kind of Elton John candle I picked up at BBW long ago. Is Elton a big candle ho or something?
I think of Elton John as having a little shopping problem, LOL…don’t see why candles wouldn’t be included!
Oh, spruce-scented soaps! Niiiiice.
I might have to buy one!
Great post, Robin! I love EO products…the lavender and rosemary hand sanitizer smells fantastic. It comes in a gel as well as individually packaged wipes. (Although I can see how some might be taken aback by a holiday gift that essentially says, “You have cooties,” I for one wouldn’t bat a lash.)
I love them too. Had not tried the hand sanitizers but also love their hair things, esp. the honey chamomile.
Oo, will try that next time I go to Whole Foods.
Rose and chamomile make such a nice combo, I’m going to have try the EO as well. I think the Pacifica line makes some good stocking stuffers too, there’s lots to choose from(I like Malibu Lemon Blossom even in winter).
Yes — Pacifica is a great resource for budget gifts! And the solid perfumes are great stocking stuffers.
Those shea creams from SSS are wonderful!
Enjoying the the Frasier Fir candle by Thymes again this winter season.
I had the Elton John candle from BBW also. I loved it so much I went back during the semi-annual sale and got 2 more. I believe it was called Winter but can’t be sure.
I’ll take a little of everything!
But I think I will order some samples off of that Sonoma site for new sniffs to try. A couple sound intriguing:D
Jingle G is on sale at sephora.com for $11 if anyone is interested! HURRY! Ha! : )
Good deal, thanks!
