Chloé will launch L'Eau de Chloé early next year. The new chypre rose fragrance for women is a variation on 2008's Chloé Eau de Parfum, and reportedly has a "refreshing, dewy feeling". It will be fronted by Camille Rowe-Pourcheresse.
L'Eau de Chloé was developed by perfumer Michel Almairac, who also worked on the original fragrance; notes include distilled rosewater, citrus and patchouli.
Chloé L'Eau de Chloé will be available in February. I will update with size and concentration when I can.

Update: L'Eau de Chloé will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.
Another update: see a review of L'Eau de Chloé.
Hm. I really don’t know. I highly doubt it will be any good chypre. Do like the bottle though.
Alas these days ‘chypre’ seem to simply mean that there’s patchouli in it.
Yep.
Agreed for the most part, but Michel Almairac is one of the few perfumers I trust to make a “modern chypre” that actually smells like one. His Bottega Veneta and Gucci Rush have legitimate chypre accords, despite their lack of oakmoss. No idea if this will be as successful in that regard, but I’m curious to smell it.
Oh, I trust MA, I just don’t trust Chloe — I did not like the original (original as in 2008, not original original!) Chloe.
I liked the original (new) Chloe and fell hard for Love, Chloe. This looks nice enough for the summer, and I hope the patchouli is noticeable in the notes and not too squeaky clean. But I don’t know if I’ll ever catch up with trying all the Chloe variations since I’m still dying to try Love Chloe Eau Intense and samples of that one are so hard to find. And then there are those three floral flankers.. This line needs a mini coffret. 🙂
Sephora has a little duo of the original plus the love, but it doesn’t have any of the flankers.
I tried Love intense and it’s only more powdery than regular Love, no trace of a bigger intensity there..
Thanks. The powdery aspect is my favorite part of LC, so I’m especially intrigued now. 🙂
Yeah … “refreshing, dewy feeling” seems reminiscent of nothing so much as certain feminine hygiene products.
LOL and EWWWwwww! 😀
So true.
I adore Love, Chloe and Love, Chloe Eau Intense.
These are OK — not for perfumistas but they seem popular with ‘regular’ folks
This sounds awful, and totally pointless. I am wary of anything with the word L’Eau in the name.
Oh look, they destroyed the one thing the 2008 Chloe had going for it…. the bottle, which was lovely.
I do not like the original Chloe, either, it is strange but to me that one is really blah and watered down so I wonder how watered down this version would smell to me. I have a problem with these recent veil perfumes, a few are pretty good, alas no love affair for me but the couple I own I spray like 20 times lol. You probably remember how much I love Love, Chloe as I have commented pretty much everywhere about that and the Intense is good so I had high hopes for something Chloe would come out with but probably not this. We could be surprised though, it will be on my list to smell as soon as it comes out.
Well, here comes the surprise lol, I even said I may be surprised, I actually really like this fume. Hmm, never thought I would like something called L’eau either especially not since I am not a fan of the “original” Chloe and in general really like heavier juicer. Never thought I would like something as much as I love Love, Chloe but this fume is really good, not really lighter and not really like the original. Just a well done fume in my opinion with rose, flowers, patchouli and a definite bergamot, citrus in the top, will be really great for the summer heat, goes on my to buy list for sure.
I just sniffed this in the latest In Style issue. Love it! I haven’t stopped thinking about it. I really noticed the chypre. It may be my spring purchase.
Yes, mine too! It really lasts and has great sillage and it is not the cheap smelling watered down juice I was expecting, of course Chloe is really good and they do not make cheap juices per say but I found their Chloe fume watered down and really average so I expected this would definitely not be something interesting to me, but usually that is what happens, you love something you expected not to like and hate something you expected to love:))) This juice has great quality like Love, Chloe, totally different in that this one is definitely a summery fume but a really good one at that.
