This week, L'Occitane will launch Délice des Fleurs, a new gourmand fragrance for women.
Délice des Fleurs is described as a powdery sugared rose-violet with accents of caramel and vanilla. Other notes include mandarin, red fruits and sandalwood.
L'Occitane Délice des Fleurs will be available in 75 ml Eau de Toilette and in a variety of bath & body products.

Update: see a review of Délice des Fleurs.
My local L’Occitane has stopped stocking most of its perfumes because, according to the SA, its other products, like hand creams, are far more popular. I am allergic to most hand lotions, lip balms, and lip glosses, so there isn’t much left for me there except for soap and shower gel.
I tried the Eau des Baux (woodsy vanilla) and liked it, but I wish that it came in a smaller bottle.
Seriously?? That is odd. I am sure the hand cream is one of their biggest sellers, but they must do well with fragrances too or I assume they’d stop making them.
I had an odd experience at my local L’Occitane recently: I went there to purchase some Fleur Cherie body products to give as a gift (orange blossom, for a wedding shower!), and I couldn’t find the FC line anywhere in the shop. I asked an SA, and said that it was all in one of the drawers. How strange. I guess someone decided that it didn’t deserve shelf space anymore, for some reason…?
Ok, so maybe they have a new strategy?? That just seems downright weird. It isn’t even one of their older scents.
I love Eau de Baux, but have also not purchased because of bottle size…
I do Not like the fragrances from this company. I bought the peony when I went on a L’Occitane craze. I use the divine line and precious line and am crazy about those. But the peony never gets used except for the girls when they want some of Mommy’s perfume. They know the bottles and love MITSOUKO. I’m on my third bottle of that in a month. I have 4 daughters and collect scents I can’t do without. Just bought CK shock and it’s just for a cozy night with the husband. A little lotion removes most fragrances. A good one to try is Jose Maran’s whipped Argan butter. Melvita had all the oils you need including the Immortelle oil. My eyelashes have grown half an inch by using that over my eyes before bed. The Precious line seems like more for night. But for makeup I use bronzed Argan oil and a bronzing powder no I do not look like snookie, that’s my makeup so I think it gets enough attention. On to the Perfume. Gotten into Santa Maria Novello and Lucien Lelong I have. Yummy
I have liked some in the past, but admittedly, none lately.
Hmm, in theory a powdery gourmand with sugared violets could be nice but I am wary of the real thing. In my experience, some of this line are seriously tenacious! I sprayed the Amber once and thought I might need consider dermabrasion to remove it. Will sniff cautiously.
Agree — sounds fun. Hope it is not *too* sweet.
And was going to add — did not smell the amber, but more often the trouble is the opposite (too fleeting).
“consider dermabrasion”–I actually snorted aloud with that one. I felt that way about Angel. Sadly (read stupidly) I bought the aforementioned amber unsniffed, as you say. Putrid stuff. To top THAT, I must confess the unsniffed “deal” I got was for THREE bottles. Oh geez. When will I ever learn?!!
Am still missing L’ de l’Occitane – and almost convinced I made it up because I can find mention of it nowhere. The name is impossible to google. It smelled deliciously of fig fruit. Got it at a shop in Toronto: Senteurs de Provence – before L’Occitane started opening its own shops….
You didn’t make it up. I bought a bottle in Paris in 1996 then had someone bring me back 2 more bottles. Still have the green box and bottle. Have looked long and hard. There are no remaining traces for it on the market. I miss it so. Michael Kors is the only perfume I’ve found that can “replace” it in my favor. LOVE gardenia!
I don’t have any L’Occitane stores within less than 180 miles, so I don’t know if it’s still in stores, but I mourn the loss of Labdanum edp on their website. It hasn’t even been out that long! I wonder (hope) it’s just out of stock. Otherwise I’ll just keep my eye on on fleabay.
I love some of the L’Occitane’s (Labdanum, Green Tea, Bergamot Tea) but I haven’t liked any of their florals lately… this one sounds like it could be promising though…
I actually really liked their Rose Jardin Delice line, though it was only out briefly on the website and I ended up picking up the perfume off Ebay. But it is a really pretty and somewaht powdery rose. Not too sweet, but the fruit just rounds it out nicely and keeps it from becoming a plain soapy rose. I’d like to try this as well. Since there isn’t an L’Occitane on my side of the state, I often just blind buy (ideally during a sale) and hope for the best.
