Indie botanical brand Strange Invisible Perfumes continues their zodiac series (Virgo & Pisces launched last month) with the debut of Libra:
Poised and graceful, this unisex eau de parfum embodies the truest essence of Libra. Luminous notes of rose quench the Libran thirst for beauty promoting balance and power, while airy, yet velvety essences of gold champa, iris and lavender help ease the Libra worrier. Basil and grapefruit encourage the diplomatic leader within.
Strange Invisible Perfumes Libra is $275 for 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

Pisces throws off the pattern but does this mean Scorpio will be released next month or maybe in November?
Beats me! I thought they originally said they would release them in pairs.
Inquiring Scorpios need to know~ 😉
Possibly Aries, maybe they’re on an opposing sign schedule?
Maybe that’s it.
Nope. Aries and Libra are the opposites on the wheel.
Although I didn’t quite understand your (possibly tongue-in-cheek) question….
I may have to re-vamp my birthday. There’s nothing here that entices me. Iris, lavender, basil and grapefruit can each have an edge, and the collision of edges does not entice me at all.
It kind of sounds like they’re picking out specific notes to relate to specific characteristics. I have a Virgo obsession and I’ve recently developed a Pisces obsession and I’m pretty good at recognizing them. What connects them is an overall, abstract quality, and not a checklist of characteristics. I would take that approach.
But I haven’t tried the Pisces and Virgo perfumes and I don’t know the perfumer’s process.
As for the collision of edges, I guess that it depends on how it is blended?
krokodilgena. I remember you mentioning this Virgo obsession before….do you have any Virgo in your own chart? I think it’s interesting, as it’s not a sign I’d normally expect a Scorp to tweak on.
Pisces, sure happens all the time; I think Scorpio/Pisces is the most common relationship obsession ( and can be very tragic, if substance abuse is involved).
That’s always the problem with zodiac-related consumer goods. I hate my birthstone, among other things.
I disliked my birthstone for years, and I’m still not thrilled with it (Topaz, reminds me of frozen pee!) but I have come to love my birthflower (chrysanthemum)
Those things are also usually chosen for the properties associated with them. I never have fully understood how topaz works with Scorpio.
I’m Scorpio too. I don’t like yellow, or topaz, or chrysanthemums. Oh well.
Actually, Robin, the ideal color for Scorpio is a deep, dark red.
The planet Mars, along with Pluto (asteroid or no), are Scorpio’s planetary rulers. So imagine a vibrant, energetic red (the Roman god of war and lust Mars’s color), and mute it just a twinge until you get a deep, mysterious maroon-red.
Sound more your cup of tea? 😉
Nope! Don’t like red either 🙂
I suppose taken individually, each note may not have an edge, but when all those notes are thrown in the Libran’s (metaphorical) scales, it may become quite the balancing act that characterizes all Librans of all walks of life. Maybe that’s the edge they’re talking about. All while smelling like a rose. That’s very Libra-like, too.
Hm. That was @ quinncreative.
I was okay up to the basil and grapefruit. I’m a Libra, so we’ll see if it works for me!
It’s a darned nice bottle, I’ll vote for that 🙂
Well, I can’t wait to see what they come up with for Aries. Although I think I said that last time. Oh well I still can’t wait.
