Later this month, Prada will launch No. 11 Cuir Styrax, a new addition to the Prada Exclusives line. Cuir Styrax was developed by perfumer Daniela Andrier; the notes include leather, styrax (benzoin), orange blossom, white musk, vanilla and incense.
Prada No. 11 Cuir Styax will be available in 30 ml, 130€.

Reminiscence has launched L'Incroyable Patchouli, a new limited edition fragrance celebrating the 40th anniversary of their original Patchouli fragrance. L'Incroyable Patchouli features the same original formula, with the patchouli note taken from a 2010 harvest of patchouli on the island of Java.
Reminiscence L'Incroyable Patchouli is available in 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

Prada needs to make this exclusive line more widely available! I’ve heard they’re very good, they could make a killing!
I don’t know. I’ve tried quite a few, and while they are quite good, I did not find any of them to be worth the price. Personally, I like Prada’s mainstream line better. Of course, I’m just one person, but still, can’t see these making a killing in widespread distribution. (Also, when you’re charging these prices, you get more attention in some ways in limited distribution -> you make people think they’re getting something rare & exclusive)
Ahh, thank you for the perspective, Robin! I have never had the chance to try any myself. And I agree that Prada’s mainstream line is very impressive, especially in this day and age.
Well, don’t let me discourage you from trying them, please! I just don’t think they’re as interesting as, say, the Hermessences. But I know they have their fans. I did very much like the carnation one, but wouldn’t be surprised if that’s been reformulated since many carnation scents have.
Robin, have you ever tried Thierry Mugler’s A* Men? I want to know if its note that remembers old mouldy wood is styrax (it’s in the base notes) . Can you tell me??
Yes, have tried it. Not sure what you’d be experiencing as old moldy wood, but seems more likely to be the patchouli. In more modern fragrances though, patchouli is usually much cleaner than that.
And how would be styrax in that or on others fumes?? Based on your description, maybe the old mouldy wood can be the mix of styrax and patchouli. If it is the patchouli I should feel the same smell in Angel and I do not feel it. If you have a decant and could sniff it I would be thankful. The smell I told before can be perceived specially during the heart notes and gives the fragrance some wood notes. It also balance the sweetness of it, making it worse for me.
OOOOooooooooooooo LEMMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
🙂
I’m on a leather kick right now so the Prada gets my attention. However I won’t get too excited because although I like some of these Prada exclusives well enough they don’t last on my skin. For what I believe is supposed to be parfum the longevity isn’t great. But maybe this will be different!
Thanks — could not remember but thought they were in Parfum.
So Prada Exclusives, is only available at their own boutiques?
They used to also be at a few dept stores. I know Liberty of London was one, don’t know the others & don’t know if Liberty still has them. Sorry I’m not more help!
This are darned hard to get.
They didn`t even know they existed at the Prada Boutique in Bal Harbor….
Where should I go to try them?
And really 130euros for 30 ml… out of my league…Makes the Tom Ford Private Blends look like a bargain in comparison! hehehehe
Not kidding when I say that there was a time that the flagship boutique in NYC had them in a closet, and you had to find an SA that knew about them to go fetch the testers. And then nobody could tell you what they might cost. Prada simply doesn’t seem interested in them in any way.
But I didn’t really answer your question — I don’t know how you can get them! I do imagine that Prada in NYC has them, and possibly Liberty of London still has them.
Cuir Sytrax seems too appealing to me. All the notes losted satisfies my taste. Huummmm. It’s a pitty its distribuition is so restricted.
Exciting! Must try.
