Berlin-based designer Michael Michalsky has launched Urban Nomads, new fragrances inspired by fast, modern lifestyles. The brand's debut fragrances, Michalsky by Michael Michalsky, launched last year.
Urban Nomads for Women ~ "combines sensuality and innocence through notes of white peach, green apple and bold lemon, with contrasting pink pepper. The heart note exudes brilliant jasmine flowers and gentle lily of the valley, brought to perfect harmony by the essence of the rose. A fragrance for modern women, who have a powerful sense of imagination, who love change and radiate self-confidence paired with sex appeal." In 50 ml Eau de Parfum and matching body products.
Urban Nomads for Men ~ "is a fragrance adventure that could not be any more diverse: Italian citrus accords contrast with aromatic eucalyptus essential oils. The versatility of this fragrance shines at its heart: Spicy, floral-fruity notes are combined with the exotic palette of the eucalyptus tree to conjure up imaginings of grated chocolate. A dynamically masculine fragrance full of mysteries for extroverted men." In 50 ml Eau de Toilette and matching grooming products.

Eucalyptus and grated chocolate, eh? If that isn’t the most unappealing pairing of scent notes if I ever heard, I’m not sure what is. I got a little queasy just imagining it.
Gotta admit it does not sound compelling.
I’m trying to get the impression of lemon + peach + apple out of my mind long enough to eat dinner…ick. Not compelling indeed.
🙂
I use Eucalyptus oil to unblock noses when we have head colds-not a smell for perfumes-surely!
I know I’ve smelled fragrances with eucalyptus that I *did* like, but offhand can’t think of them.
Oh — Penhaligon’s Elixir is one! Yum.
Urban nomads? They look like Unhappy Hipsters to me – and this sounds like the perfect perfume for Unhappy Hipsters. 😉
(One good thing: this is reminding me that I haven’t checked the Unhappy Hipsters website for a while.)
Agree — what a horrid looking couple.
thanks for the hint, interesting website, I agree with you that many perfumes would affect it’s general feeling of “sensorial deprivation” . Otherwise, not tempted by anyone of the UNs at all.
I think I first heard about Unhappy Hipsters right her on NST – in fact, I’ve heard about so many cool things here in addition to perfume.
