Azzaro will launch Decibel, a new fragrance for men, in September. The bottle also bears the symbol for decibel, dB. Decibel will be fronted by Julian Casablancas, lead singer of The Strokes, who reportedly wrote a new song for the scent.
The notes feature aldehydes, green mandarin, licorice, violet, incense, vetiver, tonka bean and vanilla.
Azzaro Decibel will be available in 25, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette. (via leparisien.fr)
I hope I like this so that I can buy a bottle to sing into when I’m blasting Pat Benatar in my room.
It looks like it would work for that 🙂
oh, i love how one of the front figures of the indie rock movement is totally selling out now by representing a designer fragrance. the irony is 5 star gourmet restaurant type of delicious.
I was surprised…but they’re not the first.
No he didn’t sell out! He wrote a song about it, so it’s an…hm artistic collaboration; “azzarooo/i love you sooo/” 😉
I give them credit for releasing it in 25 ml, someone is listening to the demand for smaller bottles.
My audiophile husband pans the concept too! He won’t even admit that the little mic bottle is kind of cute. And think of the flankers: dB Tweeter, dB Woofer, dB SubWoof, dB Amp … etc 🙂
Promising… the bottle is really cool, very rock’n’roll; aldehydes, incense, vetiver… I’m curious about this new one!!!!
ME WANT!!!! SLAMMIN’ Bottle!
