Sage Jewelry has introduced Fragrance Blends, new combinations of their already existing perfume oils — each new scent is a blend of two fragrances from their original line up.
The range includes Sage + Citrine (shown), Amber + Carnelian, Garnet + Amethyst, Jade + Topaz and Onyx + Peridot. $45 for 1/8 oz roll-on.
Many of the combinations were already available in dual Eau de Parfum roll-on (one scent at each end of the roll-on).

Wait….WHAT?
And why?
I guess for people who don’t want to have to layer??
The price for the blend is cheaper than buying the two separately. Maybe it’s just a marketing ploy to get more customers who want to blend their oils but don’t want to lay out the money for two oils.
I suppose.
A good point. But wouldn’t it be better for the company if people bought more than one oil? This almost feels, I dunno, like ruining your own product. Weird idea.
Yes, in that sense it might not be a great idea. Or if it was, Jo Malone would have already done it 🙂
I wear the solo Topaz and love it. A warm easy scent that my hubby loves too. Roll it on and I’m guaranteed a neck snuggle 🙂
It does sound weird. Especially since much of the Sage stock was disappearing from online stockists recently in what seemed like an effort to get rid of old & presumambly defunct stock (discounts offered etc). Now if the previous ones failed to garner the needed enthusiasm to keep going strong, how could the layering of existing scents be any different in marketing terms? Hmm.
These aren’t new, either. She’s been doing the blends for quite a while now.
